The Abia state chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, has hailed the supreme court judgment which affirmed Chief Victor Oye, as the authentic National chairman of the party.
The party, however, congratulated Oye, on his landslide victory at the supreme court on Friday.
Recall that Supreme Court, had on Friday, affirmed Chief Victor Oye as the authentic National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
The apex court, in a unanimous judgment by a five-man panel of justices, dismissed an appeal that was lodged by a faction of the party that was led by Chief Martin Agbaso.
The chairman of APGA in Abia state, Reverend Augustine Ehiemere, made the commendation, while reacting on the supreme court verdict which affirmed Oye, as the authentic national chairman of the party.
Ehiemere restated their loyalty to the ideals of APGA, and assured the national working committee of the party of their continued support, to enable them take the party to greater height.
According to the APGA chairman,”I want to use this medium to congratulate Ozomkpu Victor Oye, on his victory at the supreme court, which is the highest court in the land.
“I dedicate this victory to God and all APGA families in the courty. The judgment has affirmed him as the substantive national chairman of our great party, APGA.
“We want to assure our national chairman, of our continued loyalty and supports to the ideals of our party as they work towards the success of the party in the forthcoming 2019 general election in the country”.
Meanwhile, the member, representing Umuahia south constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Hon. Chijioke Nwachukwu, has felicitated with Chief Victor Oye, national chairman of APGA, on his triumphant at the supreme Court on Friday.
Nwachukwu explained that, with the victory of Oye in the apex court, APGA was now stronger and poised to enthrone good governance in the country come 2019.
He called on APGA faithfuls in the country to remain steadfast and work collectively for the success of the party in the 2019 general elections.
