Anglican Communion Honours Immediate Past Deputy Governor of Edo State, Doctor Pius Odubu


In appreciation of his propagation of the gospel and uplift of humanity, an award of excellence has been bestowed on the immediate Past Deputy Governor of Edo State, Doctor Pius Egbaranmwen Odubu.

Adesuwa Lato reports that the award was presented to him by the Anglican Communion at the second session of the Eighteenth Synod of the Diocese of Benin Church of Nigeria.

An award of excellence was presented to Pius Odubu for his outstanding contribution to the Anglican Communion and for his humanitarian services.

Bishop of Benin Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Peter Imasuen said the Anglican Communion carefully selected Doctor Pius Odubu as a recipient of the honor owing to his astuteness and for his starting leadership style while in office as Deputy Governor of Edo State.
Regarding the immediate past Deputy Governor, Edo State, Doctor Pius Odubu and his wife Deaconess Endurance said they were overwhelmed by the honor.

The service also featured a special thanksgiving session for a successful synod.
Doctor Pius Egbaramwen Odubu is a recipient of several International and national awards. He is a two time member representing Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
