APC, Lokpobiri fault Bayelsa Assembly on CP’s posting

YENAGOA— Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri,  has dismissed claims by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly that it influenced the posting of the new Police Commissioner to the state.

This came as the state chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, dismissed its alleged involvement in the posting.

The party in a statement yesterday by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Doifie  Buokoribo, said the resolution of the State House of Assembly accusing the party of complicity in the posting of State Police Commissioner showed that the Assembly was opposed to the constitutional way of posting security agents.
