Lagos – Bayelsa United head coach Solomon Ogbeide has expressed satisfaction with the first away point of the season at Sharks, Supersport reports.
The Restoration Boys were held to a goalless draw by the Garden City landlords in Thursday’s Glo Premier League match day 5 clash at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Ogbeide said though his wards could have pocketed the maximum three points if they had converted the chances that came their way in the hotly contested match.

“I’m very satisfied with the point at Sharks which doubles as our first away point of the ongoing season.
“We were looking for three points at another man’s enclave and we got a point so that’s not a bad result.
“Of course, we could collected all three points at Sharks with two, three goals if we had converted the chances that went begging in the match.
“Goal scoring is a loose end we must tighten up before we head off to our next league match.
“I thank God for the turn of events of late as we’ve been looking for our first win to give the players confidence to come out of their shell and we got that breakthrough against FC Taraba on Sunday in Oghara.
“The FC Taraba victory was a real boost followed with another morale booster, the draw at Sharks.
“We’re not there yet but will continue to perfect our strategy until we get it 100% perfect; then the catch-up race will end.
“We’ll consolidate on the newly found winning aura against Gabros when we clash at the weekend,” said the former Warri Wolves coach to supersport.com.
The draw at Sharks takes Bayelsa United’s total earnings to five from possible a 15 in the five-week old Nigerian top flight.
