Ikpeazu, Obi console Ishaku over Suntai’s death

ABA—governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Anambra governor,Mr Peter Obi  have condoled with  Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku and the people of the state over the death of former Governor Danbaba Suntai.

In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, Ikpeazu stated that the news of Suntai’s passage at the age of 56 came to him as a rude shock.

“On behalf of myself and the good people of Abia State, I wish to express our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and pray God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.

“We also mourn with Governor Darius Ishaku who worked closely for many years with the departed former Governor Suntai. May the Almighty God be with him and the people of the state.”

In his reaction, former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, said Suntai’s death was painful and prayed to God to grant him eternal rest, and to grant his family and the people of Taraba State the fortitude to accept His will.
