Kano Pillars’ Adamu Mohammed has revealed that Sai Masu Gida are refreshed and poised to pick their first away points of the season against Rivers United in a rescheduled NPFL Match Day 7 tie in Port Harcourt on Wednesday having addressed their inability to achieve success in their away matches this season during the break.

He said they engaged in several drills and other tactical nuances and that they are going to Port Harcourt to show samples of what they have been taught and that they are hoping to end their inability to earn away points when they face the Pride of Rivers on Wednesday at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium.
“The break really helped us to ponder about many things. We examined what we must do to start getting good results away from home. The few days were judiciously spent by our coaches teaching us basic tenets of what we must do to score more goals and hold on to our advantage at home and away,” Mohammed noted to Goal.
“We are confident that we are going to utilize what we had been taught when we face Rivers United before their fans on Wednesday. We know it won’t be easy but we know what we are capable of.”
