By Emma Amaize

YENAGOA—Niger Delta Revolutionary Crusaders, NDRC, yesterday, called on Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State to stop his alleged interference with the operations of  indigenous company, Dalun Dragons Security Company and allow the firm to carry on with its outstanding job of protecting oil pipelines and empowering youths in the state.

The group, in a statement by its spokesperson, W O I Izon Ebi, said the youths were embittered that the governor was supposedly using lawmakers to scuttle the operations of the security company.

An official of the state government, who spoke anonymously, said: “The governor does not want to join issues with the company or its agents on this matter. But the simple truth is that the state government has not interfered with the operations of Dalun Dragons.

“What I know is that a member of the state House of Assembly representing the area brought an issue concerning aspects of the operations of the company to the House and the lawmakers deliberated on the allegations, while the member of the House of Representatives representing the constituency also took the same matter to the House of Representatives.”
