A Social Democratic Party House of Assembly candidate for Ideato North state constituency, Imo State, Mr. Franklyn Ngoforo, has charged legislators both at the state and national assembly to live up to the standard expected of them in office, adding that if elected, he would provide quality representation for the constituency.
Ngoforo, in an exclusive interview on Friday, shortly after clinching the ticket of the party, contended that he was spurred to vie for the legislative position owing to the poor representation of the constituency by both the present and past lawmakers of the constituency.
“I decided to vie for the House of Assembly seat sequel to the poor representation Ideato North Local Government Area had experienced overtime in the state by former legislators that represented the state constituency. I tenaciously believe that legislative business is all about providing quality representation through quality law making. If finally elected, my representation will be of quality,” he added.
He however, stated his optimism to win the seat at the general election, stating that the electorate were solidly behind him. “My people have unalloyed support and implicit confidence in me.”
